| Hello,
I'm Shirley Vojkovich! I currently live in So. Calif. I learned many creative skills from my
family as I was growing up. My Mother taught me knitting,
crocheting, quilting, and embroidering, and my Grandmother taught
me the lost art of tatting. My Father, who also embroiders, is a rock
hound & jewelry designer in his own right. I taught him tatting
& he has even won Best of Show at the Iowa County Fair for his
tatting creations.
I've
always been creative, and even taught various crafting classes for
several years. When I was young I made pot holders & other crafty
things that I would take door to door to sell, not realizing that it
would be something I would also do as an adult. Click on my picture for more
pictures of the things I love. |

I started my business, SLV Gifts in 1998, & in May 2001 I created my
website
www.ShirleysCrystal.com . I've done art &
craft shows, street fairs, and farmer's markets. I have been gluing
& beading for years & a few years ago I started wire wrapping. I
have recently started making lampwork beads, as soon as I get some nice
ones, I will use them in my jewelry and also sell the beads to whoever
wants to buy them.
Being
from Iowa I've always hated the cold but I love looking at snow so I've
created my own snowflakes, both 'shiny' & tatted. My favorite things
are snowflakes, flowers, chocolate, and anything that sparkles! |

Custom orders are welcome, you can pick your own color, style, and size. If you have a stone or other object you'd like wrapped, I will do
my best to give you a piece that you will cherish.
